Can God Trust YOU?

For the longest time, I thought I had to trust God with my circumstances, and while I do indeed need to trust Him, it is higher than what I can give Him here in my earthly state. Does that make sense? This isn’t a one-sided coin. God trusts ME to achieve the goal He has placed before me. He trusts YOU in the circumstance you are in. This undeniable trust He has in you makes all the difference in your circumstances.

I was so worried for the longest time, “how can I trust God?” or “This worry that I have won’t go away.” But once the God of the Universe told me that He is the one trusting me to do the right thing, everything changed! He relys on us to do the right thing because He knows we will not fail him. He picked us to do this job for a reason! He wouldn’t put His best soldiers on the front line if He didn’t think they could handle it. He gives us a determination that is engrained in our being.

“Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.” (2 Timothy 2:3-4)

S – SAVE ME JESUS! What a savior and friend we have in Jesus! He is our rock, our best friend, and our husband. It is only through Him that we will be saved from our worries, our flesh, this world, and all our circumstances. If you have any worry or doubt at all, call on our God and He will redeem you. “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:7)

O – ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIER! Remember to not get entangled in the news, or anything else that brings you down. 2 Timothy 2:4 says, “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” Don’t be entangled in discouragement and fear, but instead move forward in faith and be God’s light to others! (This excerpt was so good I had to borrow it from a friend! See her blog here! https://thetransformedwife.com/enduring-hardness-as-a-good-soldier-of-jesus-christ/)

L – LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING! It is so easy to worry about what is in front of us, but we must remember that we do not see the big picture. Who are we but mere humans! We cannot see all the plans of God, and what fun would that be anyway? Isn’t there a bit of fun in the uncertainity of life? Trusting in God helps us bring forth fruits of the Spirit within us. Some of those fruits are patience, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, and peace. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

D – DELIVER! “Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins”(Acts 5:31). As Savior, Jesus is the only One Who can deliver us from sin! “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17). “Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me” (Psalm 50:15).

I – IMAGE OF GOD! You my friend are made in the image of God! Never forget that for a moment! Never let the devil think you are less than that! We are to BE LOVE in all that we do. Just like He is for us! That my friends, is the true suffering for Jesus Christ. That we are LOVE in all circumstances. You do not have to be a product of your situation when Christ lives in you. Just remember why you are here – to BE LOVE.

E – EYES ON JESUS! Remember to fix your eyes on Jesus, not on the world around you. Jehoshaphat was facing a desperate crisis in II Chronicles 20, but in verse 12 he says, “We are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us, nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on Thee.” Eyes fixed on Jesus will always bring peace! (Isaiah 26:3)(This excerpt was so good I had to borrow it from a friend! See her blog here! https://thetransformedwife.com/enduring-hardness-as-a-good-soldier-of-jesus-christ/)

R – RECONCILED! The defination of the word reconciled is to restore friendly relations between; to coexist in harmony; make or show to be compatible. Christ reconciled us to the Father, and for that we are eternally grateful. But He also reconciled us with our fellow man. “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;” (2 Corinthians 5:18) Through Christ and God’s endless love we now know what it means to forgive, have forgiveness, and teach others in this way. We now know what self and ego is not important, but rather a hinderance to what is commendable and worthy of love.

Dear brothers and sisters,

I want to leave you with a final thought. No matter what happens in this life, God is with you. And He trusts you with the life you have, He trusts you to share the gospel, with your talents and abilities, your possessions and so much more. Let’s make Him a proud Father together!

These verses I’ve always loved, Proverbs 3:5-6. Also I used to hate a part of my body because I was bullied for it all my life and still am but I remember doing a Bible study and learning I’m made in God’s image so if God made me in His image then I am perfect and made just the way He wanted.

Hey Chloe, You are completely right. You are made in the image of God. I like to think that God blesses us with these personal struggles to show the world what we overcame with his help. It is part of our testimony
