The world makes it so easy to stray from what is good and what is righteous. It is so easy to consume drugs, raunchy music, and sexually immoral lifestyles. To be a true Christian and follower of God, you must give up those earthly ideals and seek more righteous and pure ways of living. If you were the son or daughter of a king would you be sneaking around with women or men? Would you be consuming drugs and psychedelics? Would you be filling your mind with vulgar music and television? I surely hope not, because when it would be your time to rule, you would be a horrible king/queen.
My point is, you are the son/daughter of a king! Therefore, you do have the responsibility to act like a nobleman. I personally do not want to disappoint my King and be proud when He returns.
10 signs of a lukewarm Christian:
- You only seek God when times are tough.
- You rarely share your faith with those around you.
- You care more about what people think than what God thinks.
- You “play Christian.” Your life is no different from the worldly people around you.
- Your friends and family don’t even know you are a Christian and would be shocked if you said you were.
- You spend more time on social media than in His Word.
- You seldom pray or skip grace when saying a meal because you are afraid of what others think
- You only want to be a Christian to save you from going to hell, but not so much that it means changing your lifestyle.
- Your confidence lies in your possessions rather than the Lord.
- You are content without Jesus.
If this sounds like you, I beg you to turn from these ways and make God your number #1 priority. God will not embrace a lukewarm Christian.
Not everyone who says to Me, “Lord, Lord,” shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my father in heaven. Matthew 7:21
But take delight in knowing you can change your ways! Start a relationship with Jesus today! Get on your knees and pray to the Most High NOW! REPENT!
