Holding On During a Waiting Season: Trusting God’s Timing

by Dec 7, 2024Blog0 comments

Hey, beautiful ladies! 🌸

I know sometimes life can feel like a waiting room. You’re sitting there, waiting for God’s promises to come to fruition, and it seems like nothing is moving. Maybe you’ve been praying, hoping, and trusting God for something big—whether it’s a breakthrough, a change in circumstances, or the fulfillment of a dream He placed on your heart. But it’s like you’re in a season of silence, and you start to wonder if God has forgotten about you.

Let me tell you, sis, you are not alone. This waiting season isn’t a punishment—it’s a part of God’s perfect plan for your life. He sees you. He hears your prayers. And I want to remind you today that His timing is always perfect. Yes, even when it feels like the promise is taking longer than expected.

Hold On, God is Faithful

There is so much strength in knowing that God is not like humans who forget or break promises. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 1:20, “For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” That means every promise God has made to you is still true. Even if it hasn’t happened yet, He is still working behind the scenes on your behalf.

When you feel weary, remember Isaiah 40:31: “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” If you’re feeling tired, God will give you the strength you need to keep going. Just hold on.

Trust His Timing, Even When It’s Hard

Let’s be honest. Trusting God’s timing is not easy. It requires patience and a deep belief that He knows what’s best for us. Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!” This isn’t just a suggestion—it’s a command, and it’s a promise! Waiting can build courage within you, and God will strengthen your heart as you trust Him.

There are times when waiting feels like you’re standing still. But even in those moments, God is working in you, refining you, and preparing you for what’s next. He’s developing your character, deepening your faith, and teaching you how to rely fully on Him. Romans 8:28 assures us that “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Your waiting is part of His good plan for your life.

Seek Encouragement from His Word

Ladies, when you feel stuck in the waiting, seek encouragement from the Bible. God’s Word is full of promises that will lift your spirits and remind you that He is with you every step of the way. Joshua 1:9 says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” If you need to hear that today, take a moment to breathe it in—God is with you, no matter where you are or how long the wait feels.

I know it’s not always easy to stay hopeful in the waiting, but God is working even when we don’t see it. His timing is never early, never late, but always perfect. So don’t give up now. Psalm 37:7 says, “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.” Take a deep breath and rest in His presence. God is faithful to finish the work He’s started in you.

You’re Not Waiting Alone

I want you to know, dear ones, that you are not alone in this season. Whether you’re waiting on healing, a breakthrough, or a promise to come true, you have a community of sisters who are praying for you and cheering you on. Let us encourage each other, pray with one another, and stand firm together.

Galatians 6:9 tells us, “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” So, my feminine girlies, keep pressing on. Keep seeking God’s face. The promise is still in motion.

Trust, Wait, and Rejoice

Right now, where you are, you are in the palm of God’s hand. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. The waiting isn’t easy, but it’s so worth it. The woman you’re becoming in this season is the one who will receive God’s promises in due time.

I’m praying for each and every one of you, and I believe that your waiting season is a season of preparation. You will reap a harvest of blessings if you don’t give up. You’ve got this, girl—God’s got you.

Philippians 1:6 says, “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Hold on, your breakthrough is coming, and it’s going to be amazing!

Stay strong, stay faithful, and keep your eyes on Him. You are loved and seen by the Creator of the universe. 💕
